- Feel free to use whatever pasta shape that you prefer in your pasta salad! Any small to medium sized pasta will work great.
- I find it both best & easiest to cook my bacon in the oven (as noted in the directions below), but feel free to cook it on the stovetop if that is your preference! Make sure to pat it dry to remove excess grease before dicing to add to the pasta salad.
- Be sure to let the dressing mixture set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before adding to the pasta salad! It will be quite runny when you initially mix it, but will thicken to the perfect consistency after it is set.
- Pro tip: Set aside some of the diced tomato and bacon to garnish the top of the pasta salad for presentation purposes!
This is a recipe that is best served immediately. If you are making it for a group, I would recommend mixing it all together 30 minutes before serving to ensure that the romaine stays crisp!
