This Christmas Tree Pull Apart Bread is cheesy, herby, fun & so festive! Serve it with some marinara and pesto to dip and you have yourself the perfect holiday appetizer.

Tips & Substitutions

  • I like using 3 different variations of cheese for this recipe - feel free to sub in your favorite cheese for one that is listed! It also works the best/the cheese will melt the most evenly if you use freshly grated cheese.
  • For the pizza dough, a can of Pillsbury pizza dough works great.
  • Serve with your favorite jar of marinara and pesto for dipping!

Ingredients

– 1 cup parmesan cheese

– 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– 1/2 tsp dried garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp dried rosemary

– 13.8oz pizza dough

– 1/4 cup butter, melted

– 1 tbsp fresh parsley

– 1 tbsp fresh basil

– 1-2 garlic cloves

– Marinara and pesto to serve

Directions

  1. Add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, white cheddar cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder and rosemary to a bowl and mix until well combined
  2. Place pizza dough onto a floured surface and roll out into an even rectangle. Cut the dough into squares, fill the squares evenly with about a tablespoon of the herby cheese mixture and seal them shut
  3. Grease a baking sheet and place the balls seal side down next to each other in the shape of a Christmas tree. Bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes
  4. Remove the bread from the oven, then make the herby garlic parmesan butter. Whisk melted butter, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, parsley, basil and garlic together until well combined. Brush evenly on top of the bread
  5. Serve with marinara and pesto & ENJOY!
