Combining an Espresso Martini and the infamous Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam to make the ultimate fall cocktail – Pumpkin Cream Espresso Martini! The base of this cocktail is a classic espresso martini, topped with a thick layer of homemade pumpkin cream cold foam and a dash of pumpkin spice. What more could you ask for!

Tips & Substitutions

  • To get the creamiest & thickest cold foam, I would highly recommend using a milk frother! A hand frother or an electric frother will work great. I love the Nespresso milk frother because there is both a hot and cold setting - perfect for espresso martinis and your at home coffee!
  • Be sure to froth your pumpkin cold foam mixture for 2-3 minutes until thick & foamy.
  • If you do not have access to an espresso machine, substituting for cold brew will work however your martini may not foam.
  • Although we are adding a layer of foam, I like to make sure the martini layer gets as foamy as possible! To do so, you will want to shake your martini in your cocktail shaker for 2-3 minutes until the shaker is very cold to the touch.

Pumpkin Cream Espresso Martini

Ingredients

Cold foam:

– 3 tbsp heavy cream

– 2 tbsp vanilla creamer 

– 1/2 tbsp pumpkin purée

– 1 tsp maple syrup

– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

– Pumpkin spice

Martini:

– 1.5 oz vodka

– 1.5 oz Kahlua

– 1.5 oz espresso 

Directions

  1. Add heavy cream, creamer, pumpkin puree, maple syrup and vanilla to a short glass and whisk with a hand mixer (or a milk frother if you have access to one!)
  2. Add vodka, Khalua and espresso to a cocktail shaker over ice and shake for 1-2 mins until foamy (the cocktail shaker should be so cold your hands sting to make sure you are getting that nice layer of foam on top)
  3. Pour your cocktail into a martini glass, top with the cold foam and and a dash of pumpkin spice & ENJOY!
