Not only are these Sweet & Spicy Candied Bacon Cheddar Crackers delicious, but they are so easy to make & only require a handful of ingredients.
- Parmesan cheese: Grab a block of parmesan cheese and dice into thin rectangular slices that match the size of the Club crackers
- Bacon: Grab your favorite brand of bacon cut each piece into 4-5 small pieces
- Club Crackers: This is my preferred cracker, but any plain, salty cracker would work. Just adjust the size of the bacon and parmesan cheese to the size of the cracker.
- Brown Sugar: This is what will give you the sweet & candied taste & flavor! Dark or light brown sugar will work here.
- Seasonings: You will use a combination of cracked black pepper, paprika and red pepper flakes to give it that extra kick.
You will want to make sure you are baking the crackers on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil with a baking rack on top to catch the bacon drippings and ensure the crackers stay firm.
These crackers are best if enjoyed immediately/within the first few hours of making - store any leftovers in the fridge!
